Jon Hockenyos

is the managing director of Texas Perspectives, Inc. the publisher of the economic journal Texas Perspectives.

In addition to economic publishing, his firm provides economic planning andconsulting services to clients in both the private and public sectors.

Some of their recent consulting projects include:

• Development of a model to estimate tax revenues for a consortium of capital-intensive businesses;
• An analysis of the impact of U. S. - Mexico trade on the demand for additional highways in West Texas;
• The development of a plan for distributed power generation for the City of Austin;
• An analysis of the interrelationship between telecommunications investment and overall economic growth in Texas.

Texas Perspectiveshas been retained by the "Texas Journal" section of The Wall Street Journal to provide research and analyses of Texas economic trends. He has also been retained by Mexico Businessas a contributing financial editor

Hockenyos makes numerous presentations and speeches on international business alliances and has taught as an adjunct professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a degree of Master of Public affairs from that institution.
